Update on the c2c project with cat pattern

Yes this will take a little time. I often only have time after work and a little time during the weekend. But it's fun to see how the cats will look.
Putting up some pictures here how far I have come during 4 days...

Been a while but I'm back now :)

I started a knitting project that didn't quit agreed with me. Yeah, I did liked learning the pattern but it took a long time to make it, so I have now got back to crocheting.

I looked at many sites and it seems many are doing the so called c2c (corner to corner) crochet. I have done it here ones when I did potholders.
I love cats and I found a picture with cats that I wanted to do. I found it with cross-stitching pictures. I saw that you can use the cross-stiching patterns to make c2c with.

It's a pretty big project because all in all it's 80 x 80 cm when it's finished. :)
I bought the colors yesterday and started on it. I will have offshore as background color and the I bought black, beige, orange, grey and brown to alternate the cats colors.

Here is how far I got yesterday and the colors I'm using. Hook 2 mm.

New project and some other stuff

Sorry I haven't put up anything. The thing is that our broadband broke. The cable to it and before we found the problem we didn't know what had happen. We live in the country and sometimes mice get in the house so before our cats got to it he/she had nad at the cable and cut in two. Now it is fixed so I hope this doesn't happen again. :)

I have finished the orange figure but  I will show you the result when I put up the pattern here.
Instead I have started to knit a pattern called "entrelac".

Started a new project

I found a orange mohair yarn and thought I could do something with that.:)
I have started to make the body and here is how it look so far.

I was a little disappointed when I was going to buy some more yarn for my bedspread and found out the store doesn't sell yarn now. I don't know if they will again but I hope so otherwise I have to find this yarn elsewhere. :/

Made half mittens. Here's the pattern.

Half mittens

*4,0 mm hook
* 1 yarn in any color you want * tapestry needle

Pattern

1. Ch 36, in the second ch from hook make 1 dc, 1 dc in rest of the chains, turn.
2. Ch 2, *1 tr in the first dc, 1dc in next. Continue from * until you finished the row, turn
3. Ch 2, now make a dc on the tr and tr on dc from previous row.
Make total of 8 rows if you want to make shorter sort or continue until you are happy with the length.

The finish top I made like this: ch 3, skip 2 dc, slst in the third, ch 3, skip 2 dc,  slst in the third and continued until the row is finished.

Now put the short side together and sew it together. Measure out where your thumb showed be.
