Started on the white cats head and thought...

...it would be fun to try to make a spot on the cat. So I choose to put it behind the eyes, like this. 😊

If you want to make a spot like this, this is how I did it.

Make the spot behind the eyes. You crochet the head pattern, but on row 9 you change the color you want for spot, on the 28 sc and the 29 sc. Then you take up the white again.
Then on row 10 you crochet white to sc 26, change color and make 27-30, in the spot color, change to white. Row 11, 12, 13 you crochet to row 24 and then change color on sc 26-31. On next row 14 you change color on 27-30 and row 15 you change color on 26 and 27 sc. Done! 😊

This how I made the eye whites

1. 6 sc in MC ring, stsl in the first sc from start
2. 1 sc, 2 sc in next 3 sc, (1 sc 1 stsl) in next sc, stsl in last. Fasten off. Leave a tail to use for sewing them on.
Put the safety eyes in the middle right throw and then on the head. Sew around the eye whites on the head.

A Sabrina Somers pattern 😊

I found a patterns on Sabrina's crochet site, that was cute. I love cats and thought I would make this. I have made some changes to the face, as you will see. I've done most of the parts, on the first cat. Going to start on the other now. 😊

You can find the pattern on this site:

How did my pom pom dog go, you wonder. Well, I think I have to practice to trim them right. Here is how the pom pom dog looks that I made now. I think I will practice some more and get back to you later. 😊

How many great creations there are, our there.

Like the one I found yesterday on YouTube. She is making realistic cat faces, in felt. I was really surprised how real they look. There are pictures of the real cat and the felted one, just beside and they look very similar. 😊
Here is her YouTube channel if you wanna look:

...yesterday, but I still have a lot to learn. 😏 As I was going to trim the ball it was clear that I had used wrong yarn. As you can see on this picture.

I have to start over again and see what could be best yarn to use. πŸ™„

Platypus pattern by Mi Fil mi Calin

Platypus are special animals. Like a duck and a beaver in one animal. I think they are cute and I found a pattern I liked. I have done a platypus before, laying down, but this is a standing one.😊

The platypus on her pattern looks like this and you can find the pattern on this site:

Anyway, I'd made little crochet animals yesterday, from a book I got from my son. There where birds, panda's, pigs and lots of other animals.

The book is called

I've made a bidgerigar and a turtle. 😊
