Two days embroidering.
Right now I'm embroidering a date plate to my niece. Her birthday is coming up, so I was thinking of getting it finished by then. :)
Here is how far I have come on that.

I have finished the pattern
I have finished the pattern and it's called "The Pear rabbit" and you can see why. :)
(The pattern will come up here within a week.)
Meanwhile I'm cross-stitch a date plate.

Abstract cat pattern. Made potholders.
I found a pattern called "abstract cat pattern", thought I would try it out. Teresa Richardson that had made this pattern, made a blanket. I thought I would do a smaller thing and tried out potholders.
I laid up 55 ch's and followed the picture pattern she laid up, for free. :)
You find pattern on this page:
http://www.crochetgeek.com/2009/04/abstract-crochet-cats.html?m=1
Then I did 23 rows total. Made 3 more like that and crochet 2 and 2 together.
Here is my result using turkos, blue and light blue color.

A little hesitant about my pattern
I have been working on my pattern and I wasn't happy about how the legs turned out, so I'm still working on them. In the meantime here is another picture on my pattern project so far.:)
