Here's how I did the dog sweater. Pattern


Dog sweater to Amstaff/Pitbull

Tail end: with green

Row 1: ch 52
Row 2: dc in the 3rd ch from the hook and dc on each across, turn (50)
Row 3: ch 1, scfl in each dc across, change color yellow in the last st, turn
Row 4 (ws): ch 3, 2 dc in the first sc, dc in each sc across tio the last sc, 2 dc in the last sc, turn(52)
Row 5-26: rep row 3 and 4 changing colors at the end of every ws row, (green/yellow)

Body

Row 1: Ch 132 with yellow
Row 2: dc in the 3rd ch from the hook and each ch across, turn
Row 3: ch 1 scfl in each dc across, turn
Row 4: ch 3, dc in each sc across, turn
Row 5-30: rep 3 - 4
2 rows yellow,16 rows green, 2 rows yellow, 8 rows green, 2 rows yellow.

Front chest:

Row 1: ch 26
Row 2: dc in the 3 rd ch from the hook and dc in every ch across, turn
Row 3: ch 1, scfl in each dc across
Row 4: ch 3, 2 dc in the first sc, dc in every sc across til the last sc, 2 dc in the last sc, turn
Row 5: rep row 2
Row 6: ch3, dc in each sc scross, turn
Row 7-41: rep row 3 and 4
Row 42: Rep row 2. Fasten off

2 rows green, 4 rows yellow, 6 rows green, 8 rows yellow, 10 rows green, 12 rows yellow

Front neck band:

Row 1: ch 22 with yellow
Row 2: dc in the the 3rd ch from the hook, ch1, sk 1 ch, dc in each ch to the last ch, turn
Row 3: ch1, scfl in each st across, turn
Row 4: ch2, dc in each st across, turn
Row 5-45: rep 3 and 4
Row 46: ch 2, dc in first sc, ch1, sk 1 sc, dc in each sc across to last 2 sc, ch1, sk 1 sc, dc in the last sc, fasten off.

10 rows yellow, 6 rows green, 14 rows yellow, 6 rows green, 10 rows yellow

Back neck:

Row 1: ch 33 with green
Row 2: dc in the 3rd ch from the hook and dc in each across, turn
Row 3: ch 1, scfl in each dc across, turn
Row 4: ch 3, dc in each sc across, turn
Row 5-14: rep 3 and 4

On the chest area I sewed on big buttons to fasten the two parts together. You can use what seems best for you. :)
